Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SyncPost ("SyncPost", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up (via our authentication provider).
  • Connected accounts: platform names, profile identifiers, display names, profile images, and OAuth tokens needed to publish on your behalf.
  • Content you provide: post text, media files, schedules, and publishing status.
  • Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and error logs to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your account
  • Connect and manage social platform integrations you authorize
  • Store drafts, schedule posts, and publish content when you request it
  • Improve reliability, security, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing with third parties

We share data only as needed to provide the service:

  • Social platforms (e.g. Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok) when you connect an account or publish — governed by their policies.
  • Infrastructure providers such as hosting and database services that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. Access tokens and secrets are stored securely and used only for authorized API operations. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we work to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Retention

We retain account and post data while your account is active. You may disconnect platforms or delete content; we may retain limited logs as required for security or legal purposes.

6. Your choices

  • Disconnect social accounts at any time from the Accounts page
  • Request account deletion by contacting your deployment operator
  • Revoke platform access directly in each social network's settings

7. Children

SyncPost is not intended for users under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. International users

Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using SyncPost, you consent to such processing where permitted by law.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, contact the operator of your SyncPost deployment using the support email or contact method provided with your account.
